Are there certain installation guidelines that must be observed?

Are there load values for the system?

We have also created a user guideline for this system. This gives you a quick overview of possible loads of so-called ‘typicals’ and their variants. You can also download these at the top of the page.

Is the siMetrix system compatible with other Sikla systems?

We have deliberately developed components that allow the systems to be combined with each other. This means that you not only have the option of installing siMetrix on walls, floors and ceilings, but also in combination with our siFramo and Pressix systems. This gives you the option of combining the systems perfectly for your application.

Does the profile lose its corrosion protection when cut or scratched?

Subsequent corrosion protection on cut surfaces is not necessarily required. However, it may be recommended in environments with high corrosion protection requirements. It is not necessary to touch up scratches with a zinc spray, for example.

Why does the siMetrix system exist?

siMetrix enables constructions where a rail system has its limits. This is made possible by the connection option that works on all sides. The closed profile also realises a higher torsional rigidity, which enables further applications. In addition, siMetrix is suitable for applications where three-dimensional construction is required but siFramo is too heavy or overdimensioned.
